I reckon if he gets some runs in the short stuff they might hold on to him and give him a first class debut...
A stint at Durham will be good for him, he can learn about consistency from the best in the business - Steve Harmison!
that said however, there's limit's on the number of foreign players and if it's a choice of debuting Warner or playing Grand Lord Megachief of Gold... well sorry Dave..

I followed pretty much the same though process. I'm not sure exactly what the limit on international players is.
